Dear PCA families, alumni and staff,
Thank you for those who attended the meeting on Thursday, Jan 28, 2010. Here is a summary of the meeting.
Although we face obstacles, we trust that God is in control and will continue to show His blessings to us when we follow His guidance. He has shown us many miracles and we have captured some of them on the school web site here: Miracles Waiting?
If you would like to support the school, you may donate online at http://www.pca.ca/advancement and/or join us in prayer every Friday morning 8:40 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Nursery room next to the Founders Hall.

Dear PCA families, alumni and staff,
Thank you for those who attended the meeting on Thursday, Jan 28, 2010. Here is a summary of the meeting.
- We are in need of more support from parents and alumni and friends of PCA to move the school forward. We invite everyone to be a partner in this ministry.
- There is an appeal filed by a neighbour of 245 Renfrew against our by-law amendment. The landlord of 245 Renfrew has retained a top-notch lawyer to defend the case. Please pray for a speedy settlement of this appeal.
- Seed money from PMI may come from the Asset Transfer Agreement which is still being worked out in details. PMI has set aside approximately $3 million less any liabilities that are incurred from prior years' school operations and school closure, including a lawsuit being filed by some teachers against PMI. PMI, if transferring the seed money to PCA, will transfer the money after PCA raises $3.7 million itself.
- PCA holds a neutral position towards the teachers' lawsuit against PMI. We consider these claims are personal matters, unless they adversely affect the school operations.
- We have raised $700,000 so far and we will need another $2 million to start the project in March. PCA Promissory Notes is available to all PCA friends and families to subscribe. For parents, WeLovePCA Club is another option to financially support the school. Both applications can be found in http://www.pca.ca/advancement or the school offices. - For families who are willing to guarantee PCA bank loan, please contact Simon at syuen (at) pca (dot) ca.
