Dear PCA families, staff, alumni and friends,

As we are busy preparing to celebrate our Saviour’s Birthday, may the Lord grant you peace amidst all the hustles.

As mentioned during Christmas concert, the PCA Board has a few updates regarding the relocation to share with you.

All the reports required for the site plan have been received. The town is in the process to endorse the site plan and will issue the site plan agreement in the near future.
Currently we have an agreement to lease signed with the landlord, the official lease agreement has been prepared, signed and kept in escrow and will be released as soon as the site plan agreement is received from the town.
PCA has engaged an experienced Christian day care supervisor, Genny Ng from Winning Kids to lay the groundwork for the pre-school section for PCA. This is a new and strategic initiative for PCA as we believe a lot of character building happens at the early age.

Thank you for those who have responded to the donation appeal. As mentioned during the potluck/silent auction event, a Wall of Faith will be built at Renfrew. We would like to encourage all PCA families, staff, students, alumni and friends who believe in Christian Education to support the fundraising of PCA and leave their names on the Wall of Faith as a testimony of their faith in God.

Anyone who donates or participates in any monetary form (Donation, We Love PCA Club or Promissory Notes) before February 2011, irrespective of the amounts, will have their names (same size) posted on the wall forever.

A small plaque beside the Wall of Faith with the Title “Building for the Glory of God” will be set up, explaining how the school reached the target of $4 million dollars because God has bestowed the grace of giving upon all these people who have contributed towards building up the next generation for the service of the Lord.

We have so far raised over $1 million and in need of another $3 million for the down payment. Below is a story of two recent donations to the school:

During the potluck, a family handed me a cheque. I understand the family is a single income family and recently the father has lost his job. I hesitate for a second to receive the cheque but I know the cheque represents the family’s faith in God and they put what they could in front of God to turn to blessings for many children.
One of our WeLovePCA Club families has decided to turn their membership of $50,000 to donation even though that means they will no longer enjoy the 25% tuition discount in the next few years.

Although the donation amounts are different, in God’s eyes, it’s the hearts that matters. And we thank God for all the faithful PCA families. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:1, NIV)

Donation can be dropped off at the Peoples Church Reception on Dec 20, 21 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Dec 22 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon and Dec 31 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
