Parent Christmas Letter
Reg Andrews | 2010-12-13
December 13, 2010
Dear Parents, As always, we find that the school year is moving along at a rapid pace. It is hard to believe that the Christmas break is already upon us. We at PCA are delighted with the progress that our staff and students have made already in covering so much ground academically and with the personal growth, academically and spiritually, that has taken place in the life of each child. Peoples Christian Academy continues to do what it does best—in a caring and challenging way, encourage students to develop a proper sense of self-worth from a biblical perspective. Then, from a healthy perspective of their value in God’s kingdom, the students can be at their best in every area of personal development. Things to Remember At this time of the year it is important to remind ourselves that winter brings its own set of challenges. In case of school closure due to inclement weather let me remind you of the ways you can best be informed:
As we work diligently to bring things together for the 2011/2012 school year we need to make some minor adjustments to our calendar. This affects our Open House date which has been moved to late January or early February. We will announce the actual date in January. School Board Be encouraged that the Board of Directors has been working diligently to secure a funding plan for our proposed Renfrew Drive location. To find out more about how you may participate in the funding initiatives that have been set up I encourage you to email board (at) pca (dot) ca. Also, if you have not already done so, please return your 2011 Intent to Register form. Forms are available from the school offices or can be downloaded from the website at www.pca.ca. Following the AGM in November the Directors have elected a new slate of officers. They are as follows: Carol Lam (President), Stanley Chau (Vice-President), Christina Lam (Secretary) and Kevin Yan (Treasurer). Please pray for them as they continue to provide a high level of dedicated service to PCA. On behalf of our principals, Mr. Broomer and Mr. Mansell, and the entire PCA staff, may I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas as you celebrate the birth of the “Saviour who is Christ the Lord.” Yours truly, Reg Andrews, Director of Operations and Ministry.
