2010 Issue #4
One day a grade 3 boy came home and told his mom, “I finished my test early and I stood up and started talking to a couple of my friends. The teacher caught two of us and we had to stay behind during recess to write lines. The one who didn’t get caught told the teacher that he talked too and volunteered to stay behind with us. He actually ended up helping me do some lines!”
Isn’t it great to see kids knowing how and when to admit fault and not just happy getting away with it? Isn’t it great that they stand by each other and support each other? It’s really sweet to see such qualities developing in these children in such young age. We attribute this to God’s love, parents and teachers’ influence. That’s why we believe in Christian education. In fact the boy also told his mom, “I don’t want to go to a school that doesn’t teach you right from wrong.”
Please continue to send us your testimonies so that God’s name may be glorified.

As you can see, we are still missing reps from a few grades. If you feel like helping out in any ways, please contact us at pac@pca.ca. We usually meet once a month and you only have to assist in any project(s) that you feel like to. Any parents volunteer is welcome. We hope that by working together as a parent group, we can help build the PCA community.
You want to see our alumni in action? Dr. Chamberlain is a PCA alumnus and founder and Director of Save the Mothers. Please see the attached flyer for an upcoming event on Saturday, Nov 6. Parents’ support will be highly appreciated.
The coming month will be very busy for all of us, please mark these dates on your calendar:
Oct 31 & Nov 7 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Preregistration Drive at Century Palace Restaurant 398 Ferrier Street (Steeles /Warden) - Invite friends and relatives to visit the PCA booth and show your support!
Nov 8 7:30 pm Annual General Meeting at 374 Sheppard

Nov 8 Intent to Register Due Date - Make sure you hand in the form and include the $50 retention fee. Please contact the school office if you haven’t received the form in mail.
