Praise the Lord, the traffic demand management plan has now been completed and the zoning for 245 Renfrew for school use is finalized. It is only by God’s grace and mercy that we can overcome so many obstacles, and a big thank you to all parents, staff and teachers, and the board members who have worked so hard and prayed diligently for His will be done. Let’s come together as one heart and one voice on Thursday Oct 7, 8 pm to 9 pm at 245 Renfrew for Prayer and Praise. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, this is a great time to reflect on how we have been blessed and offer our thanks to our heavenly Father. Just bring your own chair.        

We need parent volunteers. Help is needed in the following areas:

1. ES hot meal program- please contact Mr. Chu if you can help distribute food during the second nutritional break every Tuesday and Wednesday at the WPC location.
2. JK/SK recess supervision- please contact Mrs. Wakefield, Mrs. Hill or Mr. Mansell if you can help supervise the kindergarten children during recess time.
3. Ride from Sheppard to WPC- please contact us at pac (at) pca.ca if you can offer a ride from HS to ES afterschool around 3:45 pm.

The PAC will also like to invite every one to join us for another exciting year of serving the Lord and our beloved school.  In the past, we have organized prayer warrior teams, teachers and staff appreciation luncheons, gift card program, carnival, parenting seminar, newsletter, and offer awards and scholarships to students as recommended by teachers. We have started our in-house hot meal program to elementary school, and this year, our program has extended to 2 days a week. Most importantly, we hold Friday weekly prayer meeting at school that welcomes all parents to pray together and to seek for God’s wisdom and guidance. “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them” (Mat 18:20).  Please join us every Friday morning, 8:30 am at 282 Cummer Ave., Willowdale Pentecostal Church, upper floor of the little house above the JK/SK classroom.

The PAC usually meets once a month after school, and individuals can take up projects of their own interests. If you feel that you want to serve the school in any way, this is a good place to start.
