Dear PCA families, staff, alumni, and friends,
Prayer News for the Hearing on PCA’s Zoning at 245 Renfrew
The hearing on the appeal against our zoning by-law amendment for the 245 Renfrew site has been completed last Friday April 23 at 7 pm, one day earlier than scheduled. The Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) appointed staff is fully aware of our urgency of relocation and time constraint and we are praying for an expedited decision from the staff. We thank all of you who have been praying diligently for PCA’s relocation and financing plan and we need to continue to do so in the next many weeks.
The strength of Peoples Christian Academy does not lie in its provision of first class facilities but in its faithfulness to its foundational principles as a Biblically based institution of learning. What makes PCA a viable entity is its community of leaders, teachers, students and parents who are committed to the ideal of building lives on the foundation of Biblical truth.
PCA builds up the life of our young students upon the Rock, our Lord Jesus. This ministry anchors the root of a child in the unchanging Word, unlike the public education system, so that the child will not be driven away from God by the waves of this world. September 2010 commences the 40th Anniversary of PCA. Many of you have children nurtured in PCA, have graduated from PCA, are studying in PCA, and have known PCA for years or decades. Do you believe in the value of this ministry?
If you do, know that our Lord has promised us this: “And surely, I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) Please pray for the following:

- Thank the Lord who has already provided for the land, the resources, and the people we need to continue the PCA ministry. We just have to wait patiently for His will to unfold over time. Put our trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding.
- Wait upon the Lord who takes charge of the outcome of the OMB hearing on the appeal against our zoning for 245 Renfrew. May the Lord’s will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
- More and more parents, students, staff, alumni and friends will commit to the PCA ministry by prayer.
- Ask for the grace of giving, giving generously, willingly and sacrificially to support the PCA ministry.
